Hi,
I had wavefront lasik 1 year ago, and ended up 20/15 in my right eye, and 20/30 in my left. Throughout the year, the doctor mentioned the left eye could get better, but in the end he stated it was due to astigmatism. I proceeded with an enhancement procedure to repair the astigmatism, and now I'm 2 days post op, and the left eye is very blurry to the point it feels like I never got the lasik in the first place. After the original procedure I was seeing better the very next day, however this time, it's not good at all. Please confirm if perhaps the healing process is longer due to a different type of surgery, or perhaps the fact that they relifted the flap. I'm SO upset and anxious thinking I should never have done this, and am concerned that my vision is screwed up permanantly.
Can anyone offer positive and HONEST advice? I need some cheering up badly!

Hi Again..

Just quick addition. I believe the doctors mentioned something about an overcorrection for the astigmatism. Now when I researched this on the web, they mentioned that overcorrection in hyperopia (far sightedness) almost always regresses, which would be good as it would bring back the far sightedness. They also described the symptoms as feeling very nearsighted, and far sighted vision being poor. These are exactly my symptoms. Can anyone confirm my findings? Any idea how long the regression will take? It's VERY disorienting, and making me very upset....

Thanks..
