ICLs and Halos

I don't know what the percentages are, but some ICL patients get Halos ...while others do not.

What can doctors tell us about the probability of Halos before ICL surgery? Can we compare the daytime/nighttime diameter of the pupil vs. some dimensions of the ICL to figure this out?

Colin,

Its true that just like laser vision correction, some patients are more prone to develop halos after ICLs. This risk should be discussed with your surgeon. The frequency is much less compared to lasik, but it can happen. Patients who have large pupils in dim light conditions may be more at risk. Patients are less likely to have a problem during the day because the pupil is smaller.
